“All things come into being by conflict of opposites,
and the sum of things flows like a stream.”

Heraclitus

Hi, my name is Mahmoud Rasmi. I use philosophy to help people slow down, think clearly, and ask better questions.

What I do

I work with individuals and institutions who are dealing with complexity, uncertainty, or change.
Sometimes that means helping someone rethink their direction.
Sometimes it’s working through a tough decision or conflict.
Sometimes it’s just about making space to think out loud.

Sessions, retreats, and book

  • Private Sessions: One-on-one conversations focused on clarity, reflection, and direction.

  • SideQuest Retreats: Small philosophy retreats in places that encourage reflection and meaningful dialogue.

  • Book: I wrote Philosophy for Business Leaders as a way to explore how philosophy can be useful, not as theory, but as a practical lens for work, reflection, and uncertainty.

  • Writing: I write about decision-making, ethics, and the philosophical side of work and life.

Background

I have a PhD in Philosophy and spent seven years teaching at universities.

Before that, I studied finance.

I’ve worked on strategy, cultural, and communication projects with institutions such as the American University of Beirut, the Department of Culture and Tourism (Abu Dhabi), and the Unamuno House-Museum (Spain).
